Paris, October 16th — SBS today announced it has been named Winner in the Most Innovative Application of AI by a Vendor category at The Digital Banker’s Global AI Innovation Awards 2026.

The award recognizes vendors delivering innovative, measurable value through application of AI within financial services, and the strength and continued momentum of the SBS AI Foundation, which incorporates NVIDIA technology into its AI capabilities.

Among the institutions putting the SBS AI Foundation to work is Scottish Building Society, which has used the solution to adopt AI without building in-house capability, while maintaining control, security, and explainability over its data.

“As a small society, we have neither deep pockets nor an appetite for taking large risks, so we needed a way to adopt AI without building that capability in-house. The SBS AI Foundation lets us put our own data to work, securely, and with answers we can explain and trust.”

said Paul Denton, CEO at Scottish Building Society.

“We are proud to receive this recognition from The Digital Banker. As financial institutions seek to scale AI adoption, trust, governance, and explainability have become as important as the innovation itself. SBS AI Foundation was designed to help banks harness the power of AI securely, responsibly, and at scale, turning fragmented data into trusted insights and measurable business value. This award is a testament to the innovation of our teams and the success of our clients.”
