Colloque APEC Congo 2026

SBS is participating in the joint edition of the APEC Congo 2026 Conference and the Summer Forum of the Club of African Banking and Financial Institution Executives, held under the theme: “African Banking 2026: Regional Integration, Infrastructure Financing, and Financial Resilience.”
This event will bring together key stakeholders from the banking and financial sector, public authorities, as well as national and regional economic partners.

The Professional Association of Credit Institutions of the Congo (APEC Congo) is a non-profit organization that brings together credit and financial institutions operating in the Republic of the Congo. Its establishment is based on national banking regulations and laws governing freedom of association, reflecting its importance and legitimacy within the Congolese financial landscape.
Its primary mission is to promote a sound and stable banking and financial environment in the Republic of the Congo. Its objectives include representing its members and defending the common interests of credit and financial institutions before public authorities and other stakeholders. It also serves as a platform for dialogue and consultation between members and regulatory authorities, providing advice and recommendations on banking and financial policy matters.


The Club of African Banking and Financial Institution Executives is a non-profit association founded in 1989 in Lomé, Togo. It brings together the leadership of African banks, including Chairpersons, Chief Executive Officers, and Deputy Chief Executive Officers from more than 20 countries.


Its mission is to meet the information and training needs of its members, while encouraging and facilitating reflection among African bankers on the objectives and strategies required to support the continent’s economic development. The Club organizes its Annual Meetings each February, as well as its Summer Forum.


The 2026 edition of the Summer Forum will take place in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of the Congo, at a time of strong momentum for the regional financial sector.
