Its mission has been to build accessible financial intermediation to help reduce poverty, guided by ethics, professionalism, and innovation. The company highlights a long history of product innovation in Cameroon and positions itself as a universal bank with a strong agribanking focus.

“The software’s personalization allows us to make the adaptations that help us evolve.”

They chose SBS

Before selecting SBS, La Régionale experienced a failed software implementation that did not meet its operational requirements. The legacy platform generated inconsistent figures and lacked the stability needed to support reliable banking operations. As the institution prepared for long-term growth and its future transition from microfinance to a fully licensed bank, it required a flexible and robust core banking platform capable of evolving alongside its business model. SBS adapted its solution to meet the specific needs of a microfinance institution while providing the scalability required for future banking ambitions.
