Express Union Group operates across seven African countries: Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of the Congo and Chad. Through its microfinance and financial services subsidiaries, the group provides services ranging from microfinance to payments and domestic and international money transfers. Its distribution model combines technological innovation with a network of nearly 1,000 direct and indirect service points.

As part of its continuous transformation strategy, Express Union Group has chosen to deploy the latest version of SBS Core Banking in Cameroon and Chad. This upgrade will strengthen the autonomy of Express Union teams on the core banking system. The major update will introduce new modules that will enable the group to deliver a broader range of banking services to its customers.

They chose SBS

Express Union wanted to continue modernizing its banking environment by deploying the latest version of its core banking platform. The objective was to increase team autonomy, extend functional capabilities and support the rollout of new banking services. The project builds on a long-standing relationship with SBS, following the migration of all group subsidiaries to the platform in 2016.
