What are your main responsibilities as a senior manager developer?
My daily work is all about creating POCs and demos: small applications that serve as showcases for our demonstrations. Basically, we start with existing products and look for ways to improve them or orchestrate their APIs so they can work together. Then we build a small web or mobile app to bring everything to life and show clients what these new features could look like in real conditions.
What do you enjoy most about your role as a developer?
I’ve always been passionate about development. What I love about programming is that you never stop learning ; if you take a break, you’re already behind. Working as a developer at SBS, especially in the innovation team, is really the perfect combo for me. We innovate, we test, we brainstorm, we create… There’s no routine. We do very little maintenance and a lot of creation: we talk to clients, we imagine new ideas, we reinvent our products. That’s exactly what I like, and it’s why I’ve never left the team.
And what makes all this possible is the freedom and trust we’ve earned over time. We can move fast, share ideas openly, and build solutions that meet our needs… and that often become references for future projects.
Where does your passion for development come from?
As a kid, when I got my first computer and discovered my first website, I wondered: “How does this work?” That curiosity pushed me to learn programming languages. I started with visual basics like HTML and CSS, then realized there were other languages that could make elements move on a page and create more dynamic interfaces.
About ten years ago, I really dove into JavaScript. The language has evolved so much that today you can do everything with it: front-end, back-end, API orchestration… You can build an entire system from A to Z using the same language, and that’s what completely hooked me.

Can you give an example of a project you’re working on right now?
Right now, I’m working on Sbank, the demo application of the Digital Banking Suite. We redesigned the entire theme because the UI/UX was getting a bit old, and we integrated a brand-new crypto module that will soon be released as a product. As a developer, my job is all the technical work behind this module: displaying crypto holdings, buying crypto, managing transactions, beneficiaries, wallets… all connected to the DBS APIs and the new crypto APIs. It’s an intense but really exciting project because we’re building the feature from scratch and evolving it quickly.
It seems like the Sbank demo generated quite a buzz during the Summit event!
It was a hit! Around 200 salespeople had access to the POC, and about 70 tried the crypto app on the very first day. I was in charge of the mobile deployment and could see the profiles being created in my database in real time. The feedback was excellent, including from Yann Metz Pasquier. Honestly, I was super proud of the result.
How do you explain that enthusiasm? What’s the benefit for clients?
The idea behind the crypto product is to allow clients to use their banking app not only for traditional operations but also to buy and invest in crypto. Instead of going through an external platform, transferring money and then buying crypto, everything happens directly from the bank account. It’s simpler, faster, and adds a new investment feature to the app.
Outside of work, are there any hobbies that influence your approach to work?
Since 2023, I’ve mainly been focused on my child, who is without a doubt my biggest “project”! Besides that, sports play an important role in my life ; it teaches me discipline, consistency, and balance ; qualities I put into practice every day at work.
